International Relocation – London to Singapore

Moving home is rarely simple. Moving overseas can feel overwhelming. Questions around shipping, paperwork, timing and coordination quickly add pressure at an already stressful moment.

We recently supported a client relocating from London to Singapore – a move of over 6,700 miles. The process began with a detailed in-home survey, allowing us to assess volume, access and special handling requirements. From this, we confirmed that a 40-foot shipping container would be required to transport her belongings safely.

Our London team arranged the necessary parking permits and carried out a carefully planned export pack over three days, cataloguing and securing the entire household for sea freight. As international shipping can take several weeks, and our client needed to arrive in Singapore sooner, we also organised a separate air-freight shipment containing essential items she would need immediately on arrival.

All export documentation was prepared and filed by our experienced customs agent, and we worked closely with a trusted partner in Singapore to coordinate delivery, unpacking and placement once the container arrived. From start to finish, every detail was managed on our client’s behalf.

The result was a smooth, well-coordinated relocation where the only thing our client needed to focus on was starting her new chapter. Supporting international moves like this – with careful planning, clear communication and reliable global partners – is very much part of what we do.
