At Dumond, every move starts with a pre-move survey. This allows us to assess volume, access, parking restrictions and any specialist handling requirements. Period properties, listed buildings, high-value items or restricted access flats all require different planning considerations.
Following the survey, we prepare a structured plan. This includes vehicle allocation, crew size, packing materials, timing schedules and, where required, permit applications. For international moves, export documentation and shipping coordination are also arranged at this stage.
By understanding the property and the logistics in advance, we minimise uncertainty on moving day. The result is not simply a price, but a clear operational plan designed to avoid delays and unexpected complications.
