Usually not. Household goods are duty-free when you transfer your home to Switzerland, provided you have used them personally for at least six months and continue to use them there. Newer items can be dutiable. Rules: Swiss Federal Office for Customs and Border Security.
A completed form 18.44 (declaration for household effects) and proof that you are moving your home to Switzerland, such as a lease, employment contract or confirmation of departure. Depending on your nationality, you may also need a residence permit or its assurance. We guide you through it and prepare the inventory.
Yes. We can collect and store your belongings in our secure London storage, then deliver to Switzerland when your new home is ready. Storage includes insurance.
